1974 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Coupe
In the 1970’s if you wanted to make a statement and drive a car that showed you had status the only two options were a Lincoln Continental or a Cadillac Eldorado. The Continental took the prize not only in style, but in quality as well. The Mark IV was very popular, introduced in 1972 and was an incredible styling statement from the Ford Motor Company. With a really long hood, low roof with oval opera windows and a trunk lid with a faux spare wheel harking back to the continental kit style of the 1950’s. These were a very tough rival for Cadillacs Eldorado and were very sharp and still are to this day.
