1958 Chevrolet Corvette
The Corvette made its debut in 1953 and has since become the most popular and iconic American sports car. The second generation of the Corvette is one of the most Iconic and arguably the best looking of all. With all new sleek lines introduced in 1956 with the super cool cove on the sides of the car and the addition of a 283 cubic inch V8, the Corvette became a true American sports car. In 1958, however, four headlights were aded up front, two chrome strips on the trunk and a louvered hood which really made the 1958 Corvette truly unique making the 1958 model very sought after today by Corvette enthusiasts.
Offered here is a wonderfully restored example of a 1958 Corvette finished in its original color of Graphite Gray Metallic with a red interior which is a super sharp combination. This car has been owned by the same gentleman since the early 1960’s and treated to a body off restoration 15 years ago. Everything was restored and rebuilt at that time including the engine which is original top this car. At that time the transmission was changed from an automatic to a period correct muncie 4 speed which was a great upgrade. The car is beautiful and it runs and drives wonderfully.
