1929 Model A Ford Phaeton

$26,500.00

The Ford Model A, the successor of the famous Model T, proved to be just as popular because of its great and simplistic design that appealed to the masses. A four cylinder flathead power plant similar in design to a Model T, but more refined and more powerful paired with a conventional 3 speed manual gearbox made the Model A an incredibly reliable car. With its very appealing design with nickel plating and wire wheels these Model A’s sold incredibly well, so well that at the end of production in March of 1932 Ford produced a total of 4.8 million cars. They were offered in multiple different body styles, the open models being the more sporty of Fords offerings.

Offered here is a very well restored 1929 Ford Model A phaeton that has been owned by the same collector here in Connecticut for 60 years. Restored by the well known collector and restorer Don Carlson of New Britain, CT there was no expense spared at the time of restoration. Finished in its original colors of Andalusite Blue with black fenders and grey wheels. It features dual sidemounts, an original deluxe trunk rack and a complete tool kit.
