1930 Plymouth Model 30U Roadster

1930 was the third year for Chryslers Plymouth line of cars and by then had become well established and quite popular. The model 30U was introduced in 1930 and proved to be a very sporty and well balanced car especially in its price category. Offered in a range of body styles, the roadster was of course the sportiest of them all and most sought after today by collectors. Equipped with a 45hp flathead four cylinder engine and a three speed gearbox these plymouths moved along quite well. The roadsters had a low windshield and a rumble seat making them especially fun to drive and today have the lowest survival of all the body styles.

Offered here is one of these rare model 30U Plymouth roadsters that has been very well cared for throughout its existence. Finished in cream with blue accents and black fenders this car is really sharp. The black pleated interior is in wonderful condition and the black canvas top is also very well executed.
